Auto Expo 2012: Voices Of Disappointment At The Mismanagement Louder

NEW DELHI: The Voices of discontent over the management of the 11th edition of Auto Expo are becoming louder with more business bosses complained about how the international show was held.
Business leaders criticized the mismanagement of the show say that the week-long event, which, attended by more than 50 brands, is "serious business" and not just "Tamasha".

"I m very disappointed, as she (Auto Expo) is under control. Space is terrible, cleanliness horrible. This international exhibition is not" Tamasha "or entertainment where families and kids can just come in and thinking about having fun," Man Trucks Group chairman Abhay Firodia said.

Visitors from abroad have also complained about poor management at the event. Compared to other international auto shows, here we found that the area is not so clear. There are all garbages around the toilet and not too clean. In other shows, like Tokyo, Frankfurt and Chicago, these things are kept very correct, Takata India Member Board Itaru Cadeau said.

Expressing similar views, Continental AG Executive Board member (division of the interior) Helmut Matschi said: Everyone was dressed in an official badge for the first two days Its interesting to see, even small children these days.. Auto Expo will be held industry body CII, together with the company for the Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), car parts and Manufacturers Association (ACMA). Latest issue every two years have witnessed the opening ceremony of the 24 cars and eight local companies global players, besides eight two-wheelers on the home-grown firms.

Show with 1,500 exhibitors from 24 countries including USA, China, Thailand and Turkey. Delhi edition, which is considered one of the largest auto shows around the world, is spread across 1.15 lakh square feet of exhibition space. Although most of them complained that the place was packed for the first two days, although these days he was limited only to the media and VIP-persons, others said there is no appropriate location for commuting to campus. Auto Expo India is not specific.

It has a global audience. If we are arguing that this would be the second largest in Asia, we must set our standards to that level. When our foreign guests come here, we expect them to take the image of India from the event with them, Harley-Davidson India Director (Marketing), Sanjay Tripathi said.
