Review Of The Movie Ghost

Trying to take advantage of the legend 13 Friday, Bharat Shah has released its ghost saga of horror, on Friday. Directed by Jatinder Bedi Puja, it stars Shiney Ahuja (his first film after the scandal) and Sayali Bhagat.

Frankly, that's all you should really know about the film. This hodgepodge ridiculous not even a story worthy of its credit. The author tries to add religion, revenge, suspense and what not, and fails miserably. After the beginning credits will you realize that it was a bad idea to decide to watch this movie.

We have a nurse doing an item song to a doctor, we have the female lead Dr Suhana (Sayali) who seems least bothered about the murders of his colleagues and continues to ask the Office of Investigation (Shiney) to take a break to resolve the case and have a coffee. And we have the main actor who seems to take its urgent investigation as work nine to five and continues to break into songs with lady love. Finally, the "ghost" breaks into a dance with Sandip Soparrkar the end credits ...

The "horror" film is made more interesting with the amazing performances by the lead pair. Sayali plays a doctor in the film that seems to have night shifts only, wear short dresses to the hospital (just as a spectator commented, his doctor's coat was longer than her dress) and all it seems do is either walk along empty corridors after the "healthy" or sing songs with the male lead. Which brings us to Shiney Ahuja. Shiney what makes his usual, it is preferable to - white and expressionless eyes. In fact, I think it would make a good Edward Cullen instead champion the MUC survey show wannabe Roadies officer ("Chap Shadak" Seriously?).

When we talk about horror movies, the visual and special effects play an important role. The director had said in an interview that the special effects in this film are at par with those of Hollywood and "Computer Graphics used in the movie are one of its highlights" - I never laughed so much in my life before . Ghost has special effects that would make a film look rich visual Ramsay. the ghost has a nose and flashing eyes, beyond that I really did not need to tell you more, you get the idea . I would not even waste time talking about music, directing, editing, screenplay, cinematography - they are either of poor quality (such as special effects) or absent (such as fear promised).

I seriously wanted to give this film the benefit of the doubt and see if it was a film released in box older ages. Apparently not. The Censor Board, it seems some scenes cut short as they were quite violent. I wish they had removed all the scenes of this film. Not scared, but I certainly scarred for life now.
